On a Saturday in late October, in the wake of a summer draws to a close, the desire to get some 'air and still remain within 'open to contact with the green is so great, so, before the fall, there locked up within the four walls of the house we decided to take a walk in one of the many parks that Croton has. Being located near the church of San Domenico, we walk along the Corso in the center and go down just two steps to the right, here we are in Wisteria Park, where we find the gate closed ... but three bars ripped allow us to enter, only then we realize that the second entrance facing the parking lot with the blue stripes were wide open! In any case we can start our walk, not what we expected ... but at least we could see more closely the long feature exhibition, carefully prepared, used syringes. Under the wall lining the street of Corso Mazzini are a lot 'of flattened cardboard boxes and arranged as carpet ready to welcome the guests of the "wellness center" ... down, up, right, left, and everywhere there are " swords of happiness "or the key input to hell! After have captured the whole, we try to follow the path traced by a few tiles but the presence of abundant green, maybe too much, takes us off the road and nearly stumble into the glass of broken bottles and other waste strewn with grace. To record the traces left by the usual writers Crotone here that have daubed paint each helpless, as the waste basket or concrete track that we find the entrance to the garden. With sadness in my heart, leave Wisteria Park and bordered the Holy Cross school in the direction of the waterfront, we come near the former Montedison cral where we wait for another small park whose name is unknown ... unfortunately, the marble table, which will surely it difficult for anyone, was brutally destroyed, they give the sad news of the four bolts that held firm to the entrance gate which of course is tight with bolt and padlock. In addition to the table, no longer its original form is the green, which grows out of proportion in every corner of the fenced-in garden, even here, the walls covered with multicolored paint: that of the crew that saw big walls of an abandoned place and gray have not lost time to revive it a bit. Someone else has thought, impelled by curiosity to see what is hidden behind it, to root out the litter box inside and then checking the electrical system of pirate treasure there was no sign ... In the park there are still some games for children, now rusted by time, and after a few steps there is a rectangular yard, maybe an ice rink, this one in a state of aging. This time we have captured the various "beauty" from the outside, as it is the only crossing on the edge of a wall, half fell, half-crumbling, we preferred to refrain from the adventure "Indiana Jones". Our walk in search of green claims in the "Garden of Pythagoras" that we will not give any description, we think our snapshots to convey the right feeling ... and if anyone is ready to tell us that they are providing restoration, which respond to a tourist in transit will certainly beautiful structure that will be tomorrow ... but that degraded and abandoned today. Our youth group will form an association, is ready to address seriously the health of our public parks, because one of the key issues for the rebirth of the city is the environment, all green spaces should be "lived" and not left to themselves.
